From 22 to 23 July 2026, we were delighted to welcome the heads of the data centres and libraries from all Bavarian universities of applied sciences to the University Palace.

Against this historic backdrop, the focus was on current trends and future-oriented topics: from the provision of information and knowledge transfer of the future, through the use of artificial intelligence, to the further development of cross-university cooperation, and much more.

This intensive professional exchange demonstrated once again how important close dialogue and the mutual transfer of knowledge between the administrations of Bavarian universities are, because:

1) High-performing university administrations are the indispensable foundation for teaching, research and knowledge transfer.

2) Efficient university administrations are enablers and provide students, lecturers and researchers with the best possible conditions.

3) Strong university administrations guarantee stability, reliability and continuity in uncertain times.

We are delighted that the Vöhlinschloss University Centre was once again able to serve as a venue for exchange, networking and innovation for Bavarian universities.
