Exhibition “MINIMAL ART Julian Danner”

Dear art lovers, dear friends,

From 1 October 2026 to 31 January 2027, the Ulm-based designer and graphic artist Julian Danner will be exhibiting, amongst other things, his graphic series ‘Ulmer Wahrzeichen’ (Ulm Landmarks) as well as further minimalist works from the fields of film and industry in the Wandelhallen of Vöhlin Castle.

DONAUKIND is a design universe created by Julian Danner — a minimalist, timeless world at the intersection of art, design and communication.

At the heart of his work lies the consistent elimination of the superfluous: reduction as an attitude, form as a language, material as expression. Through his interplay with geometries, proportions and surfaces, he creates works that focus on the essential – clear, serene and yet experimental.

Born in Ulm, he now lives and works as a designer once again in Ulm and Neu-Ulm.

The Danube has always accompanied him as a quiet haven of tranquillity and a connecting lifeline. It shapes not only the landscape but also his understanding of his work: calm, clear and driven by the idea of connecting people, spaces and thoughts.
